"the secret to a long life"

Walter Breuning, the world's oldest man, recently died at age 114. He has left us all with some advice, the secret to a long life:

• Embrace change, even when the change slaps you in the face. ("Every change is good.")

• Eat two meals a day ("That's all you need.")

• Work as long as you can ("That money's going to come in handy.")

• Help others ("The more you do for others, the better shape you're in.")

I am realizing just how amazing life really is. We must not take it for granted; every single second, every moment, counts for something. As spring is finally taking place, the trees blooming brilliant whites, pinks and purples, temperatures rising- I find myself constantly counting my blessings as I feel overwhelmed by my beautiful life. I like Walter's advice, it makes sense... except for maybe the working part... :)
